About Tahlvaen™
Tahlvaen™ isn’t just a fantasy world. It’s a place where myth still breathes, where magic is rare and sacred, and where every shadow might be the edge of something older than the stars.
This is a world shaped by two forces — Thira and Vyra, the Receptive and the Assertive — threads of power that weave through everything, seen and unseen. From the storm-ravaged coasts of Krythe to the whispering jungles of Halvara, from the fractured crescent-isles of Sorvallen to the ancient courts of Tir Volassë, the world moves to the rhythm of a deeper Song. One not everyone can hear.
Most people will live and die without touching magic. But those who do — the Weaveshapers, the Wardens, the Talesingers — they are marked by the Loom itself. Their footsteps echo in legend.
Tahlvaen™ is harsh. It’s beautiful. It’s filled with old gods and forbidden echoes, with artifacts buried under centuries of silence, and creatures shaped by the world’s wounds. But at the core of it all is a very simple truth:
This world is made for stories. For dreamers - but most of all, for hope.
Stories of sacrifice. Of love. Of war. Of the terrible price of power. Stories where your choices matter, where the world doesn't wait for heroes, but it does remember them.
The World Beneath the World
Beneath the surface of Tahlvaen™ lies the Veil — a thin boundary between what is known and what should have stayed forgotten. It pulses with the corruption of broken gods, whispering promises and secrets through cracks in reality. Most call it superstition. Some call it heresy. But the wise — and the desperate — call it power.
The Veil is not some cosmic curtain to be thrown back. It’s a scar. It's corruption and wrongness. And when it bleeds through into the world, something always unravels. It doesn’t care if you’re ready.
Magic with Consequence
Magic in Tahlvaen™ isn’t just another resource to burn through. It’s a covenant. A risk. Every time a Weaveshaper draws from the Resonance, they shape the threads of the world — and sometimes, the world shapes them right back.
You won’t find spell slots here. You’ll find sweat, strain, and the ever-present hum of Thira and Vyra as they coil through your soul. Magic changes things. Sometimes it saves. Sometimes it scars.
The Veilborn™ and the Unspoken
The gods of this world aren’t kindly distant figures in the clouds. They walk within the Song — vast and alien, compassionate or cruel in ways mortals may never understand. The Veilborn™ were the first to emerge from the Loom, and their children have never stopped echoing across the land. But so too do older things linger; the Outer Five, whispered in forbidden texts, etched in dreamless sleep.
If there are gods in Tahlvaen, there are also warnings. And prayers. And promises.
You Can Be the Legend
Tahlvaen™ doesn’t hand out glory. It doesn’t crown heroes. But it remembers.
When you stand against the storm, when you raise your voice where others stay silent, when you dare to touch the Loom and shape the Song — the world takes notice.
You won’t start as a legend. You’ll earn it. With broken shields, with aching hands, with choices that cost you. But here, your story matters. Your courage, your kindness, your fury, your sacrifice — they leave a mark.
The Song remembers.
And if you're bold enough, brave enough, true enough?
You won’t just play a hero.
You’ll become the kind of story people pass down.
The kind that survives long after the fire’s gone cold.
We’re building a setting that’s deep, dark, mythic, and grounded — something that feels ancient and real. If you’ve ever wanted a fantasy world that takes itself seriously without forgetting how to have a soul, that blends classic D&D with fresh ideas and emotional weight... this is your invitation.
Welcome to Tahlvaen™.
The Song is waiting.
