​The Ascendant are something that have arisen out of rigid Nullborn discipline taught in their Schools of Thought; The School of the Fractured Mind, The School of the Shattered Blade, and the School of the Silent Bastion.
The Fractured Mind teaches purity of mental focus. They are to the Nullborn what Weaveshapers are to the rest of Tahlvaen.
The Shattered Blade are deadly in their own right - psychic assassins. Asserting their will into blades of pure thought, they can strike and fade into the shadows like they were never there.
And the Silent Bastion - Like Wardens, these formidable warriors augment their abilities through rigorous mental training and psychic abilities.
